Seriously can't look at social media at the moment. The bleeding over last nights game is just pathetic. Soo many inbred fuckwits saying that the Titans would have won... I lost count at how many Titans passes went forward, not to mention the penaltys we didn't get...The refs did everything they could to keep the Titans in the game, end of the day it wasn't their night, injuries and handling errors killed them. Ok I have had so much bourbon now that my false teeth have an American accent but I am prepared to call it. We are still a chance this year but whatever happens we are specials next year. Bennett said from the start it would take a couple of years to build the team he wants and with the signing of Mead all we need is Gillette and a half decent middle forward and we will have a premiership team. One more off season and our young guys will be ready to fire.

We performed above expectations last year and started this year as false favourites but as someone who has made a significant part of their income from the punt over the years I think next year is the time to get on the Broncos.

That doesn't mean we can't win this year but I am sure if we do we will go back to back.

Watching the Cows and Storm you realise how much better they are than us, the experience of the key players is the difference and at this point I'm happy we made it this far. It's pretty clear that we over achieved last year ( and bloody near won the thing) but our halves just aren't quite there yet.

I don't think the boys are getting enough credit for this win.The Tits came to play and their full on on effort did force some errors ,but ImstilI still give our boys full marks for intensity and enthusiasm, and that's what wins these games.

Yep. It's performances like that in really important games where you have to wonder about the defending premiers. They must be fatigued now especially, where are they at mentally?

They have the ability and when they have a bit more experience they will be more consistent. You know what you're gonna get week in week out with Cronk and Thurston and in big games it's their experience that shines. When Milf are Hunt are on like 2 weeks ago in Melbourne they were unbeatable, they just don't have the experience and consistancy just yet. Both are still a bit green.

Spot on Porthoz,i saw it the same .I think tevita Pengai should get more game time as well ,I'm not a fan of the Moose ,too predictable and never offloads. when he gets mongrel he's more committed.I don't know where that team effort against Melb came from but it was one of the most complete performances I've seen from the Bronx in a long time . They will need to come out aggressive against the cows up their in Townsville ,and Blair, Gillett should be looking to offload at the edge of the ruck , where the Milf or hunt can promote more second phase play . the forward one up runs are too easy to defend . they will not get the rub of the green in Townsville I suspect and they will need to remember the cows go the full 80 , no clocking off at under 5 to go .
