We kept the Cowboys scoreless for 60minutes when we went to Townsville earlier this year, and I'm pretty sure that was without a number of key Origin players. The fact that this is a derby sort of throws form out the window as well. Finals should lead to an increase in intensity, and our players are certainly capable of that. I think we can win this, and the week after that too.

No Civo, Parker and Hodges in R15.

Would have preferred not to be knocking out another QLD based team.......beating the Sharks would have been that much sweeter, especially us being another QLD team crushing the dreams of Paul Gallen....yet again.

Feeling confident about this, think we've turned a corner. Time for some payback against little brother......

I usually like the Cows, but knocking them out would be the 4th most satisfying result, after knocking out Manly, Melb and the Dogs.

Cowboys scored 36 against a side that has been grinding and defending well all year and you got the feeling the Cowboys weren't really pumped they were just rolling through the 80 in second gear. I honestly cannot see us getting anywhere near this side whereas the Sharks don't score big numbers so regardless we will always be in a contest against them. It would have to be a massive form reversal from both sides for us to be even a slim chance.

After today's match, I think we've got a chance. They leaked a lot of points. Sucks that we have to play the cowboys is early in the finals though.

We don't throw enough at sides as good as the Cowboys to make them "leak" that many points plus they didn't really push themselves today against another top 8 side away from home and won very easily.

We've won 4 of the last 5 at Dairy Farmers, and though we lost both times this year, one was in the last minute and one was without our Origin stars. Given it's the finals more leeway will be given in the rucks and if we can slow down their play the balls I think we can get over the line thanks to, believe it or not, our bench depth.

They have leaked as many as we have, but have scored a 100 more. That's a real worry

Taumalolo was excellent today, was a massive handful when he got even a little room and for a guy of his size he really has tremendous footwork.

It's not really negativity, more realistic opinions made by observations over the last 2 months, the most painstakingly obvious thing being our attack or lack thereof.
