Feel so sorry for these guys - they're trying their hearts out. Things just aren't going our way. Norman needs to go to fullback - Hoffman seems to have re-injured his sternum. He's in pain with every hit-up, he's not normally one to avoid contact.

We've had an incredibly unlucky 2012. Losing Gagai, who is clearly better than Hoffman and Norman combined, and seeing Inglis dominate at fullback for most of the season, who we failed to get. Man, I hope Kahu turns out to be a gun.

He was fantastic at returning kicks in 2011 and with Lockyer in the team that was more than enough. But let's not kid ourselves -- he has only ever been a good defensive fullback. He has never been even remotely good as an attacking fullback, so when he fails to be a defensively good fullback, he literally does become useless.
