Disappointing. What makes it more so is that even though we've looked so far out of it, in truth we haven't been and with a little better luck it'd be closer. First two Cows tries were from mistakes, and if Reed doesn't stutter across the line and Norman holds that pass and we construct something, we could be right in this. But then they look so knackered I doubt they'd be able to stay in it...

I definitely don't. He was the man last year, I was even saying I was fine with Locky retiring because I thought Hoffman had overtaken him as our best player, and this yr, I thought he would have the same season that Ben barba was having. But hes been absolute Trash.

He was fantastic at returning kicks in 2011 and with Lockyer in the team that was more than enough. But let's not kid ourselves -- he has only ever been a good defensive fullback. He has never been even remotely good as an attacking fullback, so when he fails to be a defensively good fullback, he literally does become useless.
