PRE-GAME Finals Week 1 - Eels vs Broncos

The officiating is going to benefit us more than the Eels if that's the case.

The last thing the NRL wants is for blowout scores. They want the closest competition ever, they take pride in how close the comp and how close games are. They wouldn't want an Eels blowout so the refs would be keeping us in the game, not favouring them.
No. Don't agree with that. Whether we stay in or not won't make much difference to the NRL. The NRL has never favoured the Bronx and very likely never ever will. The ref and bunker, in my opinion will favour Parra for the reason I outlined earlier. It won't be a conscious decision unlike your reasoning which requires consciously choosing to conspire to manufacture a result.

Hedge your bets lads. Back the Eels @ $1.50. Even if the Broncos win/lose, you end up winning.

Or do what I did and multi the eels in with the Storm and Roosters and get around $3.50.

This finals series will be one of the blandest, boring and most predictable final series of all time. Sea Eagles vs Sharks will be the only game that goes either way and that’s only because Manly are running out of players. There have been so many poor teams and poor performances that it will effectively be a 2 horse race.

May as well make some money on it. It’ll sadly be another boring Roosters vs Storm GF and depending on what the narrative is at the time, it’ll be probably a Storm premiership to appease its major stakeholder in Cameron Smith and Craig Bellamy unless Uncle Nick decides to make a hefty ‘donation’ to Greenburg pre game.

A big week concentrating on aggressive defence should be on the cards.

I might head along to training tomorrow and see for myself what actually goes on this week.
Loved to know what they get up to on the right side, imagine if they were practicing up and in.... I’d probably spontaneously combust if I watched it.

This playing a centre on the bench in case of injury shit really needs to stop. Fifita could COMFORTABLY shift to centre if there was an outside back injury, just play Segeyaro + 3 forwards on the bench, wtf.

That extra forward isn't going to be anymore useful than a centre.

Teams really only use 16 players with the 17th just being there for a bit of game time and as cover. At least this way, we can keep Fifita exactly where he is where he will cause the most damage.

Nah NRL is pushing Roosters v Rabbits, back that in for the GF.
Imagine if Boyd had a blinder, then another and another and we make it to the GF against Rabbits :eyetwitch:

How does Shibaski keep getting picked in this team? He's worse than Isaako.
**** knows whats going on there. Perse would be better with his eyes closed.

The only thing I don’t quite get is that he has a centre on the bench and second rower playing centre. I get that Glenn is probably better than most our actual centres but it still does my head in thinking about it.
