Playing the man, as usual...Gutless coach? How? Im not sure who hates Bennett more, you are Tallis.
P.S. Reading is such an underrated ability.

Apparently kodi was training at full back all week only for bennett to pull a swifty on game day to start with mead. I don't even think mead has played or trained at fullback for years. No wonder our line was clueless, the guy who was training to make those calls was on the bench ffs. I think Wayne needs to just back kodi unconditionally. Pick and stick not shit the bed on game day.
I reckon the players should be more disciplined and have a drinking ban as well, Joe was drinking Wednesday night at some party.
Didn't Channel 9 do a report that suggested Kodi was struggling at fullback? That may have been Bennett's concern, to put the edge off of it.
I don't agree with the call and in hindsight he would have been better off going the ol' Sammy at 9, Hunt off the bench, Ese/Ofa starting trick.
Bennett doesn't trust the young guys enough to start a game. This is why some players might look to play else where. Look at what Walters did after origin 1. Let go the old veterans who aren't performing.
Waking up this morning and just knowing the Broncos can't and won't win the premiership is so frustrating and deflating because even though we haven't been really consistent this season, at times I saw enough to know we CAN win the premiership.
How long until our club wins another premiership? How long can we wait? How long until the players play to their potential with a killer instinct and hunger that cannot be matched by the opposition?
Not sure if it was June but it was right after the most recent Eels game. You wrote the team back off in June, so I'm not sure why you're letting last night's result affect you.
There's always next year.
That first try to Guerra can be put down to missing Boyd. The Roosters stacked their right hand side and Brisbane had 3 players marking up on Mitchell who was isolated on the other side of the field. The Guerra half-break put them at sixes and sevens and Blair came in on Keary when he didn't have to, giving the Roosters huge numbers for Guerra to score.
If Boyd had have been there, the defensive line would have been far better organised.

I understand we can't win the premiership every year okay, but I look at the Melbourne Storm and that team every year you can deadset say can and will win the premiership. They are unbelievably consistent and absolutely will not tolerate anything less then perfection. They play EVERY game at 110% and give their fans so much confidence and satisfaction EVERY season and their fans know that yes we are the best team in the NRL and we will fucking win the premiership etc. Shit happens and like last year's GF they lost but my point is can we say all this about the Broncos? What I'm hearing lately is, it's okay, we lost, it's just not their year but there's plenty to look forward to and next year we'll be better etc. To me, that sounds like people settle for mediocrity and settle for just a good effort. The effort is 99% of the time there with our boys, I never really dispute our effort but what i do question is our desire, our hunger, our self belief and confidence. We can't win every game, yes ofcourse, but we CAN absolutely dish up something better then we did in last night's finals game if we truly wanted to win the premiership.I'm not having a go, but you've been beating yourself up ever since the Melbourne game and every subsequent loss.
In all likelihood 2017 just isn't their year. So be it, the Broncos still have a good squad moving forward and there's plenty to look forward to.
This isn't the competition if you're looking for dynasties or everlasting success.

It may seem like Melbourne can win a premiership every year, but when it's all said and done their strike rate under Bellamy is 1/14, possibly soon to be 2/15. They have dished up seasons similar to the Broncos were making the finals was their ceiling and been embarrassed on the biggest stages. They're a great side, but their era is just about over.
Every season for the past 10 seasons or so, what does everyone say? Melbourne are the favourites, Melbourne are going to the GF, Melbourne are in the top 2 or top 4 etc. So it's pretty fair to say that clubs attitude, desire and hunger is pretty much ingrained into their DNA and culture. We have THAT potential and 2015 was the perfect example of that but since then, what's gone wrong? Are we unlucky? Do we make excuses? No, we just don't have the attitude and desire to go all the way.It may seem like Melbourne can win a premiership every year, but when it's all said and done their strike rate under Bellamy is 1/14, possibly soon to be 2/15. Yeah but just win ffs!Who says that? After 2012 it was Melbourne are too old, too predictable and a few would even tip them to miss the 8. This has really been the first time they've looked a cut above since the salary cap drama.
They've had 15 seasons under the one coach, in a system built around 3 legends of the game in key positions and haven't strayed from any path. In contrast the Broncos have had four different coaching tenures at that time, had to farewell a legend, lost their way at some point and have been rebuilding since 2013.
The Broncos are still one of the most consistent clubs in the competition under Bennett and will in all likelihood be right up there again in 2018.
