Finals Week 2 - Broncos vs Dragons - Post Match Discussion

Yeah, too bad buddy. How about you give your sly digs a rest.
No sly dig at all, i opening asked you if ya on ya rags big deal because until that point all you did was complain about the game... It was midway thru a tense game and no i didn't think about what i as typing... unlike some i was more worried about watching the game then posting on a silly forum.

Copley bombing that try was all that kept them in it. Our whole style of play changed after that.

How many offloads did we have in the first half compared to the second?

I agree. Epic win, sure, and Locky was my MoTM. A fantastic win ...

But where was Yow Yeh? He ran like a prop. Where was Glenn? Why won't Hodges pass the ball? I can't remember 1 kick close to their line with runners, no cross field bombs, and back to the old one-out running.

I really missed that relentless running and support play in the Warriors match. We should have won by 30 if the creativity was in our attack.

When Boyd scored his try our boys looked totally stuffed. Play like that aginst Manly and we wont score any points. Their defence is a good notch above the Dragons.

Are you the full quid or what?

Complain about the game? I was merely expressing my feelings during the match... surely by now you would know how emotions fluctuate during a match of rugby league. I like to share my thoughts on the game on the forum, whilst others hate posting on the forum during a match. I still saw the whole 80 minutes.

I think you have some kind of issue.

Anyway, that's my last say on the subject. I don't want to ruin the thread for others.

In the bus on the way home, and absolutely wired from how much I'm still buzzing!

That was EPIC!

Locky is the GOD of Rugby League!

THat was also the most disgraceful display of poor reffing I've seen. They let the Dragons hold down for so long it was a joke.

And Hornby - what a grub! He should have been sin binned after his 2nd of 5 professional fouls.

Hornby should have definitely been sin binned. He gave a perfect demonstration of what a professional foul is.

You just said it, and i said it earlier. I didn't think about what i was typing during the game my emotions got the better of me and i pulled someone up on what i saw as them complaining nonstop. Is it ok to treat the mods like general members on BHQ? or are you above us? And no i don't have "some kinda of issues" I just ignore your silly mod status and pull you up like anyone would a standard member. Mods mean nothing to me in genral conversating (yay i said it now you'll ban me for 24hrs or something clap clap)

Absolutely. In fact I reckon it cost us 1 try at least

Can I have a big cheer for Copley?? Gun kid will only get better

McGuire was great. Can't wait for next year: McGuire, Hannant and Civo. Do we need any other players on the field, or can those three just run over the top of the defence and score on every hitup?

Wouldn't be surprised if Petro never takes the field. Picked up a fairly big injury R26. May do a Steve Price and never recover.

When did he drop the ball?
He didn't drop any, but he did let one bounce.

Finally, that match was a great example of where refereeing determined the outcome of the match. They totally controlled the pace of the game which worked against us. Our momentum was derailed by the Dragons laying on the player and holding down.

The Dragons defence was good, but it was very much helped by the refs ... and our generally predictable plays.

When did he drop the ball?

Once in the first half en route to the corner off a Lockyer pass, he also fumbled a kick backwards. Misjudged a bomb leap by a fair margin in the first half as well. He ran very well though.

SHUT UP AND STOP ARGUING ABOUT CLOSING THE OTHER THREAD! WE FREAKING WON.

I'm still trying to think the whole experience through. It was a surreal ending. If that wasn't one of the best wins ever, I will eat my right hand.

We should have won by20 we dominated them but the refs let them lay all over the play the ball
