I think Kodi is overrated as a halfback, and I don't think he is the halfback going into the future.

However, Milford plays at his best when Kodi is there and he takes control. The moment Benji comes in, Milford doesn't.. There is a reason for that.

If the Broncos want any chance of winning the premiership, Kodi has to be halfback. Purely to get Milford lifting his game.

I don't like the idea of Glenn going one-on-one with Walker, that's just asking for trouble. Walker's foot-work close to the line is just too much to handle, so you want an experienced centre with him. If Boyd is out, I'd just start with Nikorima and keep the Milford and Marshall combination. If Nikorima has to play in the halves, then you've got to compromise the wing position and have either Mead, Pearson or Opacic come in.

I'd like to see Bennett return to the Thaiday at dummy half to handle those initial exchanges. Hunt struggled big time during that period and it was his only blemish in an otherwise strong performance. So Thaiday at 9, Ese to start and hope Pangai Jr can come onto the bench.
