I wonder if it is worth oscar trying the new mclaren front suspension set up.

Since it was available, lando has been using it and oscar hasnt. Ever since, lando has been well above him in single lap pace, and race pace in Spain (before the crash).

He only beat lando in Spain qualification as lando bottled his Q3 lap.

Unfortunately for oscar it looks like lando got over his mental demons and is now comfortable with the car, and is starting to chase him down in the WDC.

Oscar did look quicker in Austria but had a number of things go against him. In qualifying he was flying but then a yellow flag cost him a shot at pole. In race he once again had a terrible pit stop which is completely out of his control and was almost run off the road twice by back markers while coming for Lando with a rate of knots.

Yeah, he was unlucky in Q3 with gasly spinning but he had still been a bit off lando in the practices and earlier qualifying sessions so I think he would have put it on the front row but not pole.

His race pace in austria was good and got unlucky with pit stops putting him behind back markers and colapinto's shenanigans.

None the less, I think lando has just got his confidence back. Although oscar is generally the more consistent driver, I think on his day, lando is the quicker and with greater confidence he will have more of those days.
 
Looking like McLaren and Ferrari are best on track again so far. Seen some clips of Max fighting the car to get it to turn.

Very keen for this race.
 
This is going to be super interesting with the weather. All starting inters and track looks dry and sunny before more rain is due

Those last two corners are deadly in slicks
 
Full safety car, sucks for Piastri, he has a huge lead.
 
Bummer Verstappen spins himself out of second and Piastri might get a time penalty.
