Piastri did well to to handle the restarts, but tracks like that do nothing for the watchability of F1 imo. So little opportunities to overtake, to the extent where obviously faster cars just get caught behind slower cars.
 
Wow could not have hoped for more. Norris’ luck finally ran out. Suddenly Piastri has over a full race buffer in the points and if we’re being honest, this is more reflective of where things should stand.

And yeah go Hadjar! That kids has been very impressive all season alone with Borteletto for the rookies.

Suck it Norris. I know they were just trying to gee him up I guess, but when he got past Max and the comms were "Great work. Now go get Oscar" I was a little annoyed tbh.

I think that was his specific race engineer though to be fair.
 
I know they were never getting rid of it, but this isn't as amazing news as they are making it out to be, imo.

He is too much of a team player. In Q2 had he not given lando a tow on lando's last run, lando could have been out in Q2.

He has to be more selfish to win the drivers championship, even if it impacts maclaren. They have already won the constructors anyway.

Yeah I was a bit annoyed at that. I love that Oscar is so classy but it bit him on the butt when Lando qualified in front of him. That said, maybe Oscar can go with the better strategy this time.
 
It was frustrating too because even with Oscars assistance Lando was still behind him in Q2, only to beat him in Q1.

Hopefully a good race, think Leclerc won last year from 4th so there's hope.
 
Yeah and honestly, if someone other than Norris can win IF Oscar can't, hopefully points damage will be minimal. This should be a good, close race hopefully between many teams.
 
Given he didn't get pole, I actually prefer him in 3rd tbh. Max and Lando have had some spicy races in the past and I can see the same happening again.
