Mahoney, Turpin or Segeyaro would have been better options than Hunt. His service at rake is just not up to origin standard, running game and kicking passable but he has had Munster and DCE on the backfoot every backline shift.

Glasby, Gillett and Mbye have no business being in the line up. Club form average and are keeping other better performers such as Capewell and Welch out of the side.

I would have Feldt in the team instead of Norman, has speed and footwork, smart footballer and is a great finisher. Norman is just another DCE, we don't need another ball player - we need speed to counter JAC, Turbo and Tedesco.

This gonna get ugly, Blues 13+ and some.

At this stage I'd guess they're going with:

1. Morgan
2. Oates
3. Mbye
4. Chambers
5. Gagai
6. Munster
7. DCE
8. Papalli
9. Hunt
10. Glasby
11. Kaufusi
12. Gillett
13. McGuire

14. Norman
15. Ofahengaue
16. Welch
17. Fifita

Walters was very emotional during the press conference when talking about the QLD side. He was struggling to hold back tears.

Hopefully for QLD's sake that sparks the side because they need it.

At this stage I'd guess they're going with:

1. Morgan
2. Oates
3. Mbye
4. Chambers
5. Gagai
6. Munster
7. DCE
8. Papalli
9. Hunt
10. Glasby
11. Kaufusi
12. Gillett
13. McGuire

14. Norman
15. Ofahengaue
16. Welch
17. Fifita
I'm hoping they put Munster at the back, he's a lot more dangerous than Morgan imo.

Why was he emotional?

Just whipped himself into a frenzy about how important this game is, how much this team means to Queensland and that he knows what these players are capable of and it's his job to bring it out of them.

One wonders what Feldt has to do for a gig. Walters sees something in Glasby I don't. No aggression and no line-bending ability. I would have preferred Napa again - at least he has the potential for aggression.

The Hunt experiment should have finished. Mahoney reeled off over 50 tackles on the weekend and looked good in attack. Hunt's arm pulling cost us a try in the last game - he should have been punted.

1. Munster
6. Norman
7. DCE
14. Morgan
4. Mbye

For mine. I don’t see a lot of use having Norman on the bench.

Why would they choose that DCE pick? He looks like he is doing the Arrested Development chicken dance!

He's just behind two wingers that are better than him and offer more. I would say Feldt is never going to play Origin unless there is an injury.
