It wouldn’t have mattered if they had lost because it would have been lower than England’s regardless, it was win or bust.

But even with England scraping in by the skin of their teeth, it’s fascinating to see all of Pakistan, Sri Lanka and NZ gone. SA almost got beaten by Nepal, won by one run!

T20 is definitely a more open form and good to see more countries embracing it.

Afghanistan could win it all for example. USA make it for the first time.
