Considering Gillett has been playing in the backs my money would be on Copely or Beale slotting in the back.

piss Beale off and bring Copley in... leading try scorer in the NYC

Oh Bother ! Just when we started to look the good on the edges, But it just goes to show how tuff the fella is he did that in about the 20th minute got it strapped and went back finshed better than he started almost on one leg thats tuff, shows his committment to the cause !!! what did wallace do went off never to grace the field again ... Hmmm

FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU

One of the Busters' brightest young stars god damn it.

if we call up copely into the starting side, glenn will be benched and then beale would be left out. We wouuld still need one more forward on the bench: sims. If beale goes to 3 glenn would still go to bench and there would be a vacant spot.

I'm guessing Sims or McGuire or possibly both will get a call up. This team is just to rev them both up a little more I'd say.

Bear in mind both Wallace and Gillett have medial ligament injuries, which were the result of contact on the outside of the leg causing it to buckle inwards. There's nothing you can do to prevent that.

Same with Kemp's ribs - just unlucky contact.
Same with Parker's medial ligament.
Same with Folau's finger.

It's not like we're having a whole heap of hamstrings and calf muscles (ok, Winterstein's hamstring, which was caused by over extension in the Cowboys game, and Kenny's calf muscle) but most injuries have just been unlucky knocks.

Why do Melbourne never get these unlucky knocks!
I can't remember the last time a key player of theirs (Slater/Smith/Cronk/Inglis) have been injured for any period of time especially at the same (well besides Cronk having pre-season surgery)

Who ever the rehab/medical squad are at Melbourne we should recruit them and pay them double what they're on now.
