THE WOW Brisbane Broncos have received another blow this morning with news the in-form Matt Gillett will be out at least a month with the exact same injury as Peter Wallace

I was hoping someone was going to say Sims can slott in there, then I was then going to bring up the drop ball he did and cause us to go off topic again and then I would bring Slater into it somehow to cover all bases ;)

Sure why not, then he can drop a few more balls for us and make next to no metres... just teasing :P Seriously though, I don't think we'll see him in the side anytime soon unless we get some more injuries. (did I just curse us again?) I am just waiting for Locky to get injured for the rest of the season.

Perhaps, but in Gillett's case it was just bad luck. If he'd grounded the ball immediately instead of trying to improve the position for the kick then he wouldn't have been caught in a very awkward tackle by the Sharks' fullback. Like I said, just bad luck.

Seems like in most recent years we have been getting injuries to important players consistently throughout the season. This year has been atrocious though.

Makes me pretty sad.
