Goal Kicking

Parker seems to be able to hit them from the sideline or right in front. He had trouble with the ones either side if the posts. Wallace is very sound and Prince isn't what he used to be. It will be interesting to see who is given first go.

Have Wallace do the easy ones and Parker can do the sidelines.

Prince or Parker.

Their averages are too close to make a difference.

From a team perspective, a bad night with the boot is less likely to influence our team's overall performance if Parker is kicker.

But, I'm backing Parker for less minutes this year meaning Prince should be the man if he going the 80.

It's scary how we haven't had a reliable kicker since pretty much De Vere.

DeVere is only slightly ahead of Parker in career percentages......

So was Hazem, not that it really meant anything in the end.

El Masri finished at nearly 82%

DeVere - 76.6 %

Parker 74.5% (and counting)

Prince 76.8% (and counting)

Parker isn't really that bad overall ......just had a few misses last year that seem to be sticking in everyone's mind.

Tough crowd.

I actually agree. He might have weeks where he'll miss 4 out of 4 (and easy ones), yet then he'll bounce back the next week and kick 7 out of 8 from the sideline. I still think he's a bit inconsistent though, especially compared to DeVere, and especially when under pressure (eg, the missed 4 from 4 might have been crucial in the context of the game, whereas the 7 from the sideline may have made little difference). %'s don't always tell the story.
