I like the idea of Kevie Walters coaching us, he is a passionate QLD'er and would be a Broncos man at heart, he has also been an assistant to Bellamy so he would have some grasp of coaching and has experience in the NRL coaching ranks. Let hook see out the year and if things don't improve review his coaching techniques and if the review finds that the squad isn't coping to him bring in Walters.

Took them from a team that made the GF qualifier which was going to gain Ryles and Bird to a wooden spoon team within 2 years.

I don't want Walters. I want an established first grade experienced coach who will get us wrestling and slowing down the opponents. Whether that be Bellamy, Maguire, Henry, Flanagan etc. Under Henjak and Griffin we have stood still while the rest of the league has evolved with the way tackling is done now.

Who exactly would he be getting this info from? Has no link to any player, coach, administrator at the club.

He'd be lucky to have any inside info at the Panthers with his mate Gus running the show there.

It is a seriously dumb article by Geyer. Hook may have lost a few of the players who knows but a team doesn't go to NZ and lose in the dying minutes like they did if they aren't playing for the coach.
