I'd say the chances of getting smith are slim at best - but screw it - have a crack.

I'd also give him a captain / assistance coach role (with a lot of authority over how to fix the mire we are in).

I'd even consider saying to storm, have Milf/Bird and we'll pay half of their salary and pay Cam a million bucks, it'd still be worth it.
