Hayne was allegedly head-butted by a patron at the Beach Haus nightclub.According to Eels CEO Paul Osborne, the 23-year-old had been attending a friend's birthday party.
"We are still investigating the matter," Osborne told The Daily Telegraph.
"At this stage we believe he did nothing wrong."
Osborne said Hayne had lodged a complaint with police over the incident on Sunday morning.
The Parramatta fullback told investigators he was confronted by a patron and assaulted before retaliating in self-defence.

Hayne was thought to have sworn off visiting Kings Cross after being involved in a shooting in the notorious red-light district in 2008.

Hayne was head-butted? Are they sure they got it the right way? :wall:

The real question is; was the headbutt significant enough to cause injury?

It would be pretty hard to tell given his pre-existing brain damage.

The accused should try Hayne's defense strategy.

They're warming to him in the Cross. From attempted shooting down to headbutting... at this rate he'll be getting handshakes and high fives in the next two years.

The other patron is saying he was headbutted by Hayne.

From the above site.

A fight so serious that the other man was taken by ambulance to the emergency ward at St Vincents hospital with what one onlooker described as "a lump on his forehead with other bumps and scratches."

Hayne was not injured in the incident and will be fit to play in next Monday night's game

"There are no marks on his face or anything like that," Osborne said.

What's the bet the CCTV cameras were broken at that moment.

I don't understand why you would want to pick a fight with a guy that's not allowed to fight you back? Hero.

Translation: I was a dick and for some reason Joe Average didn't worship me like a god and knocked me one.

Other players have been egged on & they walk away from it.

Remember Hayne bit a woman on the arm in 2006 & was fined $1000

He has major issues.

I am willing to bet that the victim was paid off.

Can you just **** off.

What conspiracy theories.

Hayne's story has changed from his original story.

The person that was headbutted, said from the start the it was Hayne who headbutted.

Both won't press charges.

Hayne went running to the cops, (poor woe is me story)

ATM: The cops aren't dropping the matter.

Hayne said he was headbutted, that's why he went to the cops.

No conspiracy theories from me.
