I think it is because everybody at this forum looks like Brad Pitt and we like looking down on the ugly people of society.

Boyd has just developed so much as a person. I think he has become a leader and he is well respected as well. Imo he is the only choice for the next couple of years at least. I dont think Hunt after his grand final errors needs the added pressure right now, but down the track i think he will thrive as captain.

I like Alex, but he's in the same boat as McCullough in this discussion, he's a reliable and consistent player, happy to have him, but we shouldn't leash ourselves to someone that is probably a 50/50 shot at being expendable within the next 2-3 seasons due to their being better options coming through the grades, or through free agents.

I vote Corey Parker as captain and think he more than deserves the upgraded year to his contract. He might even play the final year on a reduced wage. .. He's. Player who sets himself personal goals and stops at nothing to achieve them. He'll be the most capped player in history and couldn't be prouder that it'll be a bronco.

Boyd to me needs to keep going up a gear before being given something like that. But maybe being captain will be that push he needs

I still think Macca will get it.

Wayne had enough faith/confidence in him to make him captain for the times when Hodgo and Cozza were unavailable. He's the obvious choice for mine tbh.
