Hunt has put the cue in the rack

I think Hunt at his best is greater than Niko or Bunji at their best and most Broncos supporters just want to see the best outcome for our team because we all realise this premiership is there for the taking
Benji at his best now or at his best ever?

I'm just keen to see Milford be the shot caller again. Hopefully he will continue that urgency we saw from him before origin. He becomes competitive when he is in the drivers seat. So long Hunt.

I'm not going to be a wanker and stick the boot into the guy, but on form you can't really argue with the decision. Even at his best Hunt is prone to some silly errors, but when he's not even running the ball anymore, he just becomes an anchor to the whole team's attack.

Not at all. I think he will be back and it doesn't matter who we play there , just as long as we win . Playing the jets style could do wonders for his confidence.

Haven`t watched QRL in a cpl of seasons . But I hear intersting things about the way Ipswich play . Could do him some good .

All I can say is thank goodness the end is in sight. A few more days of 'I told you he sucked and should be dropped' and we can all move on. :)

Although heaven forbid Niko get's dropped for Hunt in a few weeks time. I don't think I can take that shit storm. Rather Benji starts and Niko on the bench if things don't pan out.

I don't think I could take a repeat of the last few weeks.....just in reverse.

If Wayne is saying Kodi is the long term 1/2 ,that complicates B Hunt`s return in a No 7 jersey .

quote from Bennett

Just listened to the audio, you'd think they could at least get an accurate quote..

Media Quote: "He won't be out first grade for too long."
Actual Quote: "You know, umm, we.. we don't think he'll be out of first grade too long."

Pretty big difference in the context, there was very little confidence in Wayne's voice when he replied.

Also,

"You going out to watch the Ipswich game on Saturday to see how Ben goes?"
"No, I won't be, I'm sure I'll get lots of reports on how Ben goes."

what do you expect from a rugby league journalist.

for all i know that quote about Hunt not being out to long was said to give a message to Nikorima not to rest on his laurels or he will lose the spot

The fact that Wayne straight up said that "There's no doubt Kodi will be our Halfback next year" basically confirms that we won't be seeing Hunt in a Broncos jersey again, barring injury.

I am so glad that Bennet finally realised Hunt will never win a comp. At least not as a starting half. He could be a good bench player and offer some impact but as an 'organisational' half, he is mud.

I really love how the Dragons signed Hunt on $1.2 Mil, and we have essentially dropped him to play Marshall instead, who they didn't want, for $100k... Literally 1/12 of the cost. I know Marshall is just on the Bench, but it is still pretty funny nonetheless. They are absolutely stuffed next year. Losing Dugan and Packer and spending all their money on Hunt... Sucks to be a Dragon's fan...

if you want an 'organisational' half, then Kodi is not it... in fact we don't currently have an organisational half on our books

I wouldn't get overexcited about Kodi. He still has a lot of deficiencies and I'm still not convinced that he is a long term option. I don't disagree with the Hunt demotion but it hasn't strengthened the team by any means. Kodi has a heap of pressure on him now being given the reigns to guiding around the most high profile RL club in the world. Good luck with that.

Yep, the weight of expectation could change things.
