Riley Brown signed as a second tier player so he will be on the minimum or slightly above. Chalk was one of the players caught up in the Celtic Crusaders fiasco so he's just going to grab the first opportunity. Plus he's hardly a big name, fringe first grader IMO.

Bird would be more expensive but his visa problems limit his options too.
