I still play A-grade, we won the previous 2 premierships.
We are currently coming 3rd in the winter comp, I missed the first 5 weeks due to a knee injury, and played my first game back last week. It's amazing how quickly your fitness level drops just after a short lay off I was absolutely buggered in my second over of batting, although I am not getting any younger.
I just absolutely love the game, I love the rivalry between us and another team called Hotondo, always a bit of sledging going on in the games between us, which of course is all in fun. It beats playing out in the hot sun all day long.
I don't know what I would do on A Thursday night if there was no Indoor Cricket, I couldn't bring myself down to a level of watching the abomination that is the Hey Hey its the Newcastle Knights footy show that's for damn sure.
