Injury Thread

Henjak - delusional - ongoing injury

We need to get fit aye. Our first half is USUALLY alright, but it's a whole different story in the second half. We are too tired to tackle and the opposition take advantage of this.

Plus we get injured like mofos. :(

These injuries are starting to get ridiculous. By far the worst injury toll in the clubs history.
We can't play a game without 1-2 people going down injured.

We are having horrible luck with injury, it just dosent seem to stop, i still want henjaks head at this point in time.

yeah because not only does he have a young inexperienced team, but he has had to deal with one of the worst injury tolls ever seen at this club

You can make excuses for Ivan all day long the bottom line is the team plays like they don't even have a coach.

Injuries - sure. Inexperience - sure.

But at various times: Lockyer, Wallace, McCullough, Thaiday, Setu, T'eo, Sims, Glenn, Winterstein, Yow Yeh, Kenny, Parker, Folau.

There's enough experience there for there to be little excuse for Henjak.

As for Locky, I'd like to see a bit more anger and leadership from him.

Get Langer to spend a week with Hunt, and Lockyer to spend a week with Hoffman, Webcke with the forwards.

In fact, get Langer onto the training paddock at 7 with Hunt strapped to his back, and get Lockyer to play FB at training with Hoffman glued to him.

Here are the players that have, or will be missing games this year due to injury.

Hodges
Folau
Kemp
Gillett
Wallace
McCollough
Winterstien
Kenny
Parker
Yow Yeh

Anyone else?

That's 10 separate injuries in 7 weeks. Insane.

Top25 wise add Ahern and Michaels... Almost half our Top25 injured at some point.

I'd rephrase that, this is one of the worst injury lists to hit a team in the competition - unbelievable, and personally, getting sick of the damn NSW media playing it down, never mentioning it and labelling the tigers or dogs as "injury affected" - wanna know what an injury cloud is? wake up, fools

I must say that our injury curse is contagious. Just about every game we have played we've lost players but now the opposition are losing players whilst playing us (think Mannering...the beast...stagg...morris etc)
Maybe if we can win a couple more and the opposition loses players long term we might make the finals by default (also counting on the titans, roosters, dragons and manly to be punted to the bottom of the table due to salary cap rorting as well) we might be in this with a chance ;)

Broncos Facey says that Maccas is out for only 2 weeks!!

http://www.broncos.com.au/default.aspx? ... y&id=24921

THE WOW Brisbane Broncos will be without Andrew McCullough for two weeks because of a chest injury.

McCullough has a tear in his pectoral muscle, but in good news the injury will not need surgery.

Surgery could have put him our for over three months.

Antonio Winterstein is almost certain to be missing against the Newcastle on Friday because of a minor hamstring tear.

The Broncos will face the Knights at 7.30pm on Friday.

Winter is looking at just 1 week.

That's a massive relief. If we lost Macca then we would've most certainly missed the finals IMO. There's still hope!!

Read the article broncospown, there are direct quotes from McCullough.

"I'm a bit nervous but I'm confident it won't be the year," McCullough said.

"It could only be a month or two but I could be wrong. I just have to be patient and see how it heals."
