I never liked the Bird signing. It didn’t make sense then, and sadly it’s proven to be a disaster. I feel for the guy, particularly as he looked primed for this year.

Most fans can't control their emotions. He has certainly had a bad run since moving north. Reminds me of a guy named Dave Seage who played for Newcastle. A good player who just couldn't avoid the surgeons. Hopefully a speedy recovery.

People are legit pissed about the state of our squad and cap at the moment. It's understandable that tempers will boil over, but I don't see anyone blaming Bird, just acknowledging that clearly he is done for and it can't be helped?

ooh I remember him. Poor bastard had about 4 ACL surgeries. Remember his last one where he was just screaming "no" and hitting his knee on the field knowing his career was over.
