Jack Reed Appreciation Thread

I hope he nominates for England. What they need more than anything is some NRL standard backs.

Also would be good for the Broncos because he would always be available come Origin time.

and we wont lose reed during origin, yay

Sounds like he wants to play for QLD.

"I've got an English passport but I'd love to play for Queensland," said Reed, who will partner Hodges in the centres for the Rabbitohs clash.

"They (England) haven't called me yet. It hasn't really been brought up with me, so I'm not thinking about anything like that (playing for England).

Would be good for the internatonal game too.
Hope he chooses England.

If Nielsen is QLD's 3rd choice centre, then I'd more than gladly have Reed be eligible for QLD. We actually need someone decent there if there is another injury.

^^ This. Plus when Reed moves into the back row he'll provide plenty of impact for QLD a la Luke Lewis.

I think Nielsen is our fifth choice after Hodges, Inglis, Tonga and Tate.

I hope Reed stays in the centres for a good number of years. He is shaping up as top class.

It is so good to see a hard, strong, straight running centre who is still clearly agile despite his build, reads the game well (and will only improve) , has an offload (say Gillet running on his inside or his winger), and defends strongly.

IMO, Reed is the ideal partner for Hodges as our permanent centre pairing.

Thats presuming Hodges stays on the field for any great length in the future.

Reed is on the footy show with glenn this week.
