Has there been any updates on the Jet to wabits rumours?
They will kick into over drive tomorrow if GI announces retirement

Press conference tomorrow.
I would imagine it's very likely.
What time?
Not sure.
All that I've seen said is that there will be a press conference tomorrow regarding his future.
No.
But Bryson Goodwin is apparently meant to be coming back to join the Rabbitohs so considering the Rabbitohs cap issues, I'm not sure how they could afford Roberts even with Inglis retiring.
I would imagine Roberts isn't on small money.
Maybe a swap with someone on similar coinNo.

Isnt there talk that Souths still have to absorb Inglis salary even if he retires?
Bit worried about losing Jimmy tbh. He is the only x-factor we really have these days.
His once in a blue moon line breaks aren't cutting it anyway, he doesn't pass to his winger either. Staggs is a far more valuable to the team.

Yep, you don't get salary cap exemption as a club when a player retires early due to injury accumulation. Has to be immediate retirement due to such an extensive injury from a single incident they can no longer play.
So Souths will be carrying Inglis's contract even if he pulls the pin tomorrow as there is clearly no sudden injury that has caused his retirement (if he does).
