Roberts isn't coming.

Luckily, I have made a list of real Broncos fans and fair weather fans who throw 23/24 year old players under the bus even though they are 12 months removed from scoring 16 tries from 25 games with Anthony Griffin as coach

That means absolutely nothing. Ben Barba won the daly m and turned to shit, so i don't see how hoping for other players makes you any less of a fan. I'm sorry you're so much more of a real fan than everyone else :rolleyes:

It was well publicised Lafai was being moved on for Hopoate.
It was well publicised McQueen was being moved for Burgess.
There has been no definites about Copley besides 'possibilities' from the Courier rag, desperate journos and forums like this.
I'm also hearing an announcement could be made by Souths over the weekend.
Believe it or not. Frankly I'm not bothered. :)

Look at the end of the day if he comes here great, if he doesn't thats fine we work with what we have and we move forward. i personally want this shit over as much as the next person so we can focus on 2016 with absolute clarity.
 
Yep, this is the downside of the ten day cooling off rule.
Dont forget, it is plausible, if unlikely, that Copley and/or Maranta could have signed elsewhere nine days ago and we'd be none the wiser.
 
For me personally I see this situation as a win, win for us. I would love to get Roberts and would be electric, but I don't want to lose Copley and get the feeling he will explode next year, as he get an extended time in one position that he hasn't had before. Ideally we would release Reed and maybe Maranta and have both of them, one on each side, but I guess you can't have everything.

It was reported in the media this morning that he was meeting with Souths today

FIH is a master of the slow release. Only just revealed that he / she has a hubby.
 
its very nearly at the point now where I actually hope he goes somewhere else ... this parade is beyond ridiculous. He's $1.45 to be 2016's biggest flop given all this unwarranted hoopla

Wherever he DOES go, coach & leadership group is going to have reign him back to earth quick smart imo.
