I'm ok with Vidot or Kahu this weekend. Just no Reed please!
Channel 9 seemed to indicate the starting 13 will remain the same.
I'm probably going to get hung for even suggesting this, but part of me wants to see Vidot in the forwards for a match.
Not for a winger; for a forward, maybe.. I don't get the rapturous Vidot love. He's been adequate, for mine.
how many tries has he scored? Do playmakers target him with kicks? Are those things important as part of a wingers skillset?
I think so, very much so.
Exactly right, but that's not the profile of a winger. What I am saying is that he's playing out of position, which in turn, hamstrings our attack. I'm not saying leave hime out, just look at his natural game, and play him in a position that suits.
Pretty simple really, he is still very valuable, actually even more so in the right position.
Sometimes there are such things as false gains. All good making meters in our defensive end, but no good if he can't get over the tryline.
Vidot hasn't had much of chance to show his wares in attack. Let's not forget the factor Hoggman as well as two other ball hoggers inside of him...
I like @Cult3 's idea, but I can't help thinking that even that may be too confusing for him. I. mean, i don't see him as an intellectual giant, not that it takes that, if you know what i mean.
I also think Porthoz makes a good point in a round about way. If Hoggman took his wing position, we would see an incredible difference in both stikepower and defensive security under the highball and kickreturns, not to mention try saving tackles and diffusing rhe highballs.
This only strengthens my point, I think. Do you get what I'm saying?
Does anybody remember Brett Plowman?
Does anybody remember Brett Plowman?
So is Hoffman, Barba and next year Milford (although he'll be our 5/8th?)??He is a fullback
