Can anyone link me to the article or content where it mentions that Seibold told Nikorima his future was at 9? I remember reading that that’s what Nikorima was unhappy about and a catalyst for leaving

But he wasn't really the game controlling/managing half we need was he ?
For the record i am a Kodi fan and feel we could have used him as an impact player from the bench.
He didn't feel the same way though unfortunately.

He wouldn't have been the first player I tossed (Boyd), but we will hardly be worse off for his departure. He isn't what we need and there really isn't much else to discuss. I wish him all the best.

He wasn't what we needed in the halves, but he could create something out of nothing, just like Oates and Roberts. Now Roberts seems mentally checked out, and Oates decided to have a hand to foot replacement surgery.
I wish we could have come to some arrangement where he was willing to try to be a fullback or a bench hooker.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I would of gotten rid of Milford first and let Kodi play five-eighth with Dearden at halfback. For the money Milford is on, one decent game followed by 6 average/terrible games is not good enough.

I actually think that Milf would have been better off going to the Storm last contract, Broncos seem to be killing careers at the moment, not where I ever thought this club would be.

I’m not one to usually overreact and I’m not overreacting now. As I said, I’m giving Siebs two years and breaking up the 6 and 7 is a step in the right direction, though for his pay grade, Kodi was offering a heck of a lot more than Milf at his triple Kodi’s pay grade.
I blame a lot on Bennett. I know Wayne is an excellent man manager and probably the best coach of all tome but it doesn’t change the fact that I believe he got it horribly wrong with Milf and has possibly stopped Milf from being as great as he could have been.
Luckily, he is still a young man and hopefully Siebs can bring the best out of him again. Giving him an actual halfback will help with that.

He was signed to the club and had not played a minute at the Broncos when Bennett arrived. Milford at 6 is completely on Bennett for better or worse.

So you think Milford is worth what he is getting as a five-eighth?
We are in this mess because he and some other under-performing players have occupied a large percentage of the salary cap but offer little reward. I'm not saying I would keep Nikorima at five-eighth long term, but just long enough to go into the market and buy someone worth spending on.
Getting rid of Milford, Boyd, McCullough, Glenn and even Gillett would clear up some much needed space in our salary cap so that we can actually buy players who can back up their price tag with consistent high level performances.
