RUMOUR Kodi Nikorima to Storm

That winger that killed Maranta last night is too. You know Josh Addo-Carr. My nan is a Riley-Carr.
Having a yarn on a Brisbane page about him now. But hey Kotoni Staggs would be alright but a bit young at aged18 next year

Do you mind if I ask from now on that you're more in depth with proving that you're related to all these people, just for clarity sake. Who is your nan to you? Is she your mothers mother or your fathers mother? How is Josh Addo-Carr related to her if they have different last names?

I mean, it's completely believable that you're related to every indigenous person in Australia, I think we'd all just appreciate you going in to more depth regarding how you are.

His Dads Cousin is on facebook right now talking to me on broncos page now.
Ok simpleton.
His Addo side is from Cairns. His Carr side is from Wellington NSW.
My nanna is my Dads mum. She is a Riley-OMG wait for it. CARR. Do you know how big Wellington in NSW is. Why dont you research The Wellington Project online done by Great Aunty/Cousin. My nans 1st cousin Joyce Williams nee Riley.

You still haven't let us know how you're related to him..

But from what I can gather I'll have a stab, your fathers mothers first cousin is cousins with Josh Addo-Carr's fathers cousin, who is talking to you on Facebook, and in your world that constitutes being "related" to someone?

If that's the case I'm probably related to the Queen of England.

Some of us just give our people a bad name. Please stop.

If Kodi goes - what about Segeyaro?

Bit injury prone. But that shouldn't be an issue for a bench player. Not sure he'd go anywhere where he's got competition for a starting spot though.

Getting out of sydney would be good for him though.

Brisbane Broncos utility Kodi Nikorima says he would love to stay at the club he has played at his whole life, despite speculation he will leave for the Melbourne Storm at season's end.
Nikorima is off-contract at the end of the year and it is believed the Storm are frontrunners to secure his services.
But Nikorima insists that Brisbane is his home, with the 22-year-old having arrived in the River City 10 years ago when his family moved from New Zealand.
The Aspley Devils product says his focus is on producing his best form for the remainder of the 2016 season.
"I'll have a good discussion with my manager and weigh up my options, but for now I just want to play good footy," Nikorima said.
"I'm at the Broncos and I'd love to stay here long-term because I've been here since I was 12. This club means a lot to me.
"I haven't spoken to my manager for a couple of weeks now. He's just told me to leave it to him and for me to focus on my footy."
Nikorima's younger brother Jayden left the Broncos at the end of the 2015 season and has since struggled at the Sydney Roosters, with the 19-year-old now playing reserve grade after being dropped from first grade.
It's something Kodi will need to consider as he prepares for the biggest decision of his career.
But for now all eyes are on the Warriors, with Brisbane needing to secure a win on Saturday to avoid losing their fourth match in five appearances.
Nikorima will have to lift for the Broncos, with regular starting hooker Andrew McCullough facing up to two months on the sideline with a broken thumb.
It's McCullough's second stint on the sidelines this year, with the 26-year-old missing two matches earlier in the season because of a knee complaint.
"'Macca' has been out already this season when he had the two-week break. I got more time on the field then so I expect the same," he said.
"There will be pressure on Travis [Waddell] and I this week. 'Macca' being out leaves a big dint in our side so I'll need to step up.
"I'll play wherever Wayne needs me. If I get a start then that's great but if not I'll just keep doing the same role."

Yeah what else would he say? 'Looking forward to going to the Storm or wherever, just finalising the dollars.'

I'm honestly sure though that he does honestly want to stay and obviously we all hope he does.

Any idea what we do with both of them though?

IMO Jayden is even less of a bench hooker as Kodi. He'd only be here as a backup half, but that's not a bad thing. He has hopefully learned that the promise of a starting spot and bigger dollars isn't necessarily the answer. Not at his stage of development. He should commit to us for 2 years - if he thinks he's good enough for the top grade, let him prove himself in Q-Cup while training and developing with one of the most professional NRL sides.

Maybe Kodi into the Centres?

I know I keep harping on the D, but I can't see him defending in such a specialist spot. He might not be beaten on the outside, but one-on-one he'd get steamrolled too easily.
