Good luck with Commolli on board..............you will need it

hey dude I hate to tell you this but........ you're living in the past, and Insua is living off that one goal.mal said:Renegade said:Konchesky...well, it's the best we could do with a limited budget. I guess Hodgson also had an eye on the UK quota for the squad and to be fair, he's done ok.
Really??? The best we could have done is kept Insua, he was our leading assists last season if I remember correctly.. yes he had his defensive issues, but Konchesky has **** up already on numerous occasions and offers nothing going forward.
We got rid of a promising 21 (remember that, only 21) year old left back who had nothing but a bright future ahead of him and would only get better with experience and forked out 5m?? for Konchesky, an aging-never good enough left back who is only going to get worse... So no, I don't think it was the best we could do!
Insua has also already had 2 caps for Argentina at age 21.
What we had.
An extremely promising 21 year old left back with a few defensive liabilities who was unreal at getting forward and had the world at his feet. Value will increase dramatically in market. Aurelio and (as it seems) Agger as backup.
What we have now.
An average 29 year old left back who seems to be struggling far more than Insua has in the past with few defensive liabilities and woeful at getting forward. Only going to get worse, and his value will deminish in the market. Aurelio and (as it seems) Agger as backup.
Konchesky has had 2 caps also for England...... at age 29.
I know which I would want.
