Hope they go well today for Alex,s sake…he is a credit to the game, his team, his family and his Country..Lead them through the toughest period of the club..deserves to receive the highest praise.
Just cannot understand why Milford bought back..they will run through him all day, his centres will not know weather to come in in defence to cover the breaks and no one will be able to structure round him in attack as he throws dummy after dummy going sideways. Are we that down on troops that there was no alternative.?

As someone who has struggled through mental health issues to 'be their best' I do get it. The pressure he would have been under is immense. It leaves a really bad taste in my mouth but I do wish him all the best.

Well said, im in the same boat.
I dont wish badly for Milf, but its frustrating to see him play well in his last handful of games for us.

II can't help but feel we will rue the decision to let him go, particularly in light of getting Reynolds who will be taking all the pressure off Milford.
...and the fact we don't really have a ready made replacement makes it even harder to understand.

Milford has always had the potential in him.
He is self confessed lazy and went missing more often than not for the past 3 seasons and thats on him, not the team.
You could just as easily say "look how well the team plays when Milford puts in the effort".

He’ll find form at Souths.

They won’t pin their premierships on him and give him a $1 million contract and tell him he has to start playing a certain way. JD will give him freedom and keep it simple for him, he’ll have him playing the way Milford is supposed to play while the likes of Cook and Walker will take control of the side. Everything will start falling into place.

Souths are about to fall off a cliff anyway, bennet’s leaving and we all know how this goes. Milf will do well at Souths, sometimes. Just like he did well in Brisbane, sometimes. He doesn't have consistency in him. Also him and Walker are going to have the same issues he had with Nikorima being too similar and not knowing what to do when they need to grind a win. Souths are going to be a fun team to watch next year but will have their issues

Boy was I wrong about Miff…but don’t mind eating my words if he can do that again for final 2. Interesting to see how consistent he can be for Souths.
