Yeah always liked the idea of K playing for NZ and Qld but hate the idea of getting random shunt kiwis playing origin, kind of cheapens the meaning.

Melbourne are apart of the Under 16's Harold Matthew's competition hence their first senior game for either state is in NSW.

Western Australia are apart of the Under 18's SG Ball competition and since they don't have an Under 16's side, it's their first senior game in either state.

It's pretty screwy but no one has said a word yet. I imagine you'll hear more about it if Mahe Fonua, Richard Kennar or Young Tonumaipea are selected in some sort of Origin fixture.
