BASKETBALL NBA

Hornets during their half time show against the 76er's had their mascot giving out gifts to kids that were selected to appear on the half time show. They gifted one kid a PS5 and then off-screen they took it from him and gave him a jersey instead. It was apparently meant to be a skit by the organization.

Crushed the kid. What a bunch of *****.

They copped backlash for it and now they're back-pedaling and giving the kid the PS5 they took from him and giving him a VIP experience at a future game.

He doesn't mind a flop though.

In terms of Aussies:
Daniels - A smokey for all star selection - leads the league in steals
Exum - Injured and who knows when available
Ingles - Injured and had dropped down the Wolves pecking order anyway
Mills - Not getting any game time after the first few weeks in the worst team in the league - his time in the NBA is likely up
Ducas - Injured at the wrong time and can't get back in to one of the best teams in the league in OKC
Simmons - He's looking good, still won't attempt a three to save himself but showing strong glimpses of what he used to be
Travers - Playing G league and getting games every now and then for the high flying Cavs, he is REALLY impressing at the next level down
Furphy - Has looked good in spurts and is being managed really well by his coach in his first season, the talent is clear for all to see but he's very inconsistent
Green - I really don't know what to make of him, he's always been inconsistent, I really don't think he's a starter level player
Landale - Getting some minutes for Houston who are flying but has a Kiwi in the way as back up centre, I think he is a strong candidate to be traded
McVeigh - Not getting games
Thybulle - Injured and a strong chance of being traded, has not played this season
Reath - Getting very limited minutes, also very strong chance to be traded as there are teams looking for a decent back up centre
