New Broncos jersey for Dragons match

Oh yep, makes perfect sense.
I also love the heritage jersey and wouldn't mind if we went back to it.

I also think one off promotions like this are great, the Bulldogs Avatar thing was pretty cool and stuff like that is what NRL clubs need to do more often if they don't want to rely on grants for the next 50 years.

I'm in the navy camp.

I loved this jersey when it came out:

As others have stated blue has been part of our colours for years and years. Including our home jersey.

I probably could have found a better picture than that, but you get the point.

We won the 2006 premiership in white and navy FFS! Whether you guys like it or not, it's part of the Broncos history now.

The white hoops are what makes this jersey for me. That design is quintessential Broncos (although it should go around the back too).
That jersey that Webcke is wearing is pretty awesome I also loved it.

a teeny tiny blue line that was there for what, 2 years?

2002-2006. 5 seasons. The blue was only taken off the home jersey in 2007.
the blues not even worth a mention though [icon_lol1.

on those jerseys, no, its not. thats why ive pretty much hated our jerseys post-collar. but that is the ONLY home jersey thats ever had blue, and it was a tiny line for a few years. white was a big part of the jersey from 1988 to 2002, and the heritage jersey.

its not a colour on our home jersey, never has been and probably never will be.

I didn't say blue was ever a prominent part of our home jerseys, I was simply correcting the above line.

It's ok to admit you were wrong for once, dude. It's not a big issue icon_thumbs_u

It was my understanding that the blue and white were to represent the colours of Brisbane city council so as to further distinguish the club from the origin side. Maroon, gold, blue and white have always been the club's colours, even if they've not always been on the jersey.
In related news Corey Parker wrote a nice column in the Courier Mail today about how the blue strip is a tribute to Cyril Connell. Good to see the club remembering him.

Does anyone know what strip we will be wearing for the Indigenous round (24) ?
That could be an opportunity to get creative and make the best jersey ever!

Or the fucking NRL could worry about the real issues, rather than appeasing the constant whinging from Australia's native community about how unfair their lives are.

*tick tock tick tock tick tock* Countdown to self righteous moral outrage begins!

Nashy is right. Enough already. Whitey came, took over, long ago, move on, everyones sorry, here's the money, now can we just play footy instead of endlessly sucking up and pretending we care.Aboriginals have nothing to whinge about anymore. Whatever poor conditions they have now are due to their own actions.
I'm sick of the endless homage paid to them and the big fat overweight dancers who have never been further west than Toowoomba and know as much about the dreamtime and history as I do. To the aboriginal community, I say harden up and fix some of your disgraceful attitudes and behaviours so that we can tolerate you. Just like we have to tolerate each and every person and race.

Aboriginals will get the respect they deserve when they reduce the incidence of alcohol abuse, reduce their crime rates, increase their employment to the national average, increase their childrens attendance at school to the national average and stop whinging about injustices that happened centuries ago. They are 100% responsible for their current situation.

Yea but that quote is way too big to fit on a jersey.

I saw a dude wearing the Cyril jersey today, looked so good.
