I hate all these freaking changes to the shirts and once off ones. I realise you have to change with the times, but sometimes you can have too many. Anyways, I've never been one to get too interested in jersey's even though I love Broncos. Might get one for my newly born daughter though! :P

The Broncos are keeping the significance of the jersey and the game itself top secret until the week of the match but have exclusively revealed the navy blue and white strip to The Sunday Mail.

Has anyone heard anything regarding the significance of this? I found it strange that they mentioned the game as well as the jersey being significant. Perhaps something to do with Bennett??

do not want. its just all blue with 3 tiny white stripes either side of the gigantic wow box. thats not the broncos.

we need our heritage jersey to be our home jersey, and we need a predominantly white jersey with maroon and yellow as our away jersey. i wish theyd just f#$% off the blue that they added in when we got our new logo.

my guess it has something to do with brisbane junior rugby league. There rep jerseys up until about 10 years ago were navy or dark blue were they not?

Agree - I don't mind the jersey itself, but it isn't a Brisbane Broncos jersey for mine.

Yep. As to the person who said "why do the Broncos have to be maroon", well, we just launched our team victory song in recent years that calls us the "mighty maroon and gold"...so it'd be pretty pointless if we wore yet another jersey that doesn't have any maroon on it!

That was moreso me talking about our away jersey. I should have worded it better but I did say our home jersey should stay the same. As long as our home jersey stays traditional I don't see the reason why we should have a strict colour code for our away jersey as long as it doesn't look shit. Although I realise that would be dangerous because what is considered shit varies greatly from person to person, so what the designers and Broncos management think is good, we might think is a festering turd.

Given the article in CM mentioned the Livestrong jersey, I think it'll be charity related. Blue is the hero colour for men's cancer fundraising but beyondblue (depression) is another possibility.

Why can't our actual Jersey have some time to be desinged well. The one off Jerseys look so much better than our week in week out ones IMO.
