Who could forget his, "I'm going to give the ball to Macca and he's going to tell you" when the ref asked what he was doing at a penalty.

Is that when they decided to make it easy for everyone and instructed them to always take the 2?

Boyd's best leadership year was in 2016, when he wasn't captain. He was our best player that year too.

I think Gillo should be our captain. If you looked at experience, effort, body language, and communication on the field and had no knowledge of who our captain is, I think most people would guess Gillo.

Especially with so many young forwards in need of a leader. I think a Gillo/Boyd co-captaincy would work great.
