I've gotta revise my side from earlier, based on the form of some players.
1. Jaryd Hayne
2. Brett Morris
3. Michael Jennings
4. Josh Morris
5. Josh Dugan
6. Josh Reynolds
7. Jarred Mullen
8. Andrew Fifita
9. Robbie Farah (c)
10. Aaron Woods
11. Greg Bird
12. Boyd Cordner
13. Paul Gallen
14. James Tamou
15. Anthony Watmough
16. Trent Merrin
17. Luke Lewis
Reynolds is the form Five-Eighth of the competition, deserves first crack, Mullen proved today that he's still got the best kicking game in the NRL, far superior to Pearce. Also, Woods has outplayed Tamou this season, Woods should start.
Hopefully they go Gidley, Maloney, Pearce, that'd be hilarious.
They will choose Ennis and pick Gidley on the bench as the utility player.
I would prefer Peats if Farah is unavailable. He has been absolutely killing it for Parramatta and is a better option than Ennis and Gidley.
Ennis - Sucked the fat one at Origin level. Lost the Blues a couple of games by himself and should never get picked again.
Gidley - Makes rep teams undeservedly. I thought he had a couple of decent moments at Origin level but I would much rather a specialist hooker than a part time one.
I think Keary's chances of playing Origin are close to being gone.
NRL and NSW are not going to budge and let him play for QLD. He doesn't want to play for the Blues..
Maloney out of Origin I with a grade 2 AC joint injury. That would be the series for him, has not been anywhere near impressive enough to slot right back into Origin based on his past performances and form.
