Why not!

Glenn says the @Brisbanebroncos need a coach who can teach young players about the club's culture; "We need someone like that, to steer the boys around what the morals are of this club, what the values are of this club and what it was all built up off"

He is the last coach to have won a game for the club so he knows what he is talking about hehe

The captain should have a say.

The Board:

Here are the candidates Lexie:

1. Kevvie - We like him but so do the old boys so we don't want him because that would make it look like we are giving in to them
2. Greeny - We like him but the old boys and fans don't, so we like him even more. Yes, he won a premiership against us but that shows he knows what he is doing and Milford is better than JT, so we'd like to go with him.
3. Old Wayno Bennettoni - His record is pretty good but we punted him for reasons no one can understand, so we don't want him back because that would make us look incompetent...and we don't want that.
4. Antonius Seaboardy - Apparently he won Dally M coach once so we think he is pretty good. Apparently he makes a mean PPT too and wants to take us in a fresh direction. We like this guy and want to offer him a ten year contract because he has somehow just become available, we want to snap him up before the Frankfurt 3rd division takes him.

So what's say you and we agree to pick number 3...and by 3 we mean 4?

Cartwright shown the door at Manly - maybe ok as an assistant.

Another titans reject... no thanks
Was more thinking along the lines Cowboys assistant to Green in 2015 - premiers (dare I mention).
Also assistant to John Lang at Penrith 2007 - premiers.

JD was also an assistant at the cows...

Also looking at the current state of play you may be going one better and getting the head coach from that 2015 team 😳😳😳

No thanks Alex.

It might be best you concentrate on getting fit and getting on the field, staying on it and winning more than one game as the permanent captain before you start worrying about picking the coach.

That’s not supposed to be harsh or disrespectful either, but we simply can’t have the lunatics running the asylum (of course, there is a case to say the board are already doing so, but that’s another story).

In every strong and successful sporting organisation, the players play, coaches coach and boards and management manage.

So many cautionary tales exist to show how quickly things go south when one function of a club has too much power or oversteps the mark (the Titans with Hayne, Taylor et al. white-anting Henry and still being giant shit sandwiches anyway is just one example).

The absolute last thing this football club needs is more confusion and voices chipping their 2 cents in.

No thanks. I do have a question mark over Cartwright as well. But we do need some experience in the coaching ranks as well as on the paddock. Cartwright at least has that particularly if we end up with Kevin and definitely with Green as you say.

Walters as head coach with Bennett as coaching director and Thorn as an assistant/ involved with the club in some capacity. Make it happen already before we get Green.

Marshall’s defence is absolutely shot now, I’d only take him as a backup half on a cheap deal. We’d honestly get more output from Milford and he’s contracted for next year so we might as well use him
