Couple bits of news.

First off Bellamy has re-signed with Melbourne until 2016. The premiership winning coach was receiving overtures from a few clubs, namely St. George Illwarra but stayed loyal to the club that gave him his first full-time gig.

Glenn Stewart is set to miss the opening four weeks of the NRL competition after under-going surgery on his left knee. His absence will open the door for former Parra player Justin Horo to make his mark at Manly.

Haven't seen this reported yet on BHQ but Souths have ditched their multi-man co-captaincy arrangement settling with Michael Crocker as captain.
