If we knew it was definitely Smith’s last game i’d be going for the Storm. But failing that I don’t care who wins, and I can’t split them. Melbourne have the experience but the Panthers at their best are a better side, but not by much.

Just hope it's a good quality close game, locked up at the 79th , but Mansour sticks one on the stripe at the death, or that prick Cleary slots a one pointer, that'll do me . All cameras then pan to Cam Smiths face , so yeah **** Melbourne . Go the Broncos NRLW

No injuries / suspensions for either side, both full strength. Should be an interesting game, I think Melbourne will be slightly too good though.

Anyone else find it incredible these two teams have a full strength line up?

Also, have Penrith had an injury this season other than the Staines hammy?

To'o & Capewell both missed about half the season, couple of other minor injuries to players that only cost them a week or two.

So, I mean, very minimal.

Pretty straight forward 17's this week assuming there's no late switches, looking forward to the game, they've been comfortably the best 2 sides this season.

I’ll be going for Melbourne I think. Every team I found some way to get behind ended up losing along the way so out of my 2 least favourite options (other than roosters), I think storm wins.

in all honesty my dislike of Smith has died down and I’m really starting to appreciate how lucky we are to have seen his career unfold. It would be great to watch the mastermind pull apart another team in red hot form like he did the Eel in 09*****, the Bulldogs in 2012, and the Cowboys in 17. Too smart for these teams on a hot streak.

It's the same every season, except when one team is hit by injuries late, stumble in to the GF and end up cannon fodder.

The health of the playing roster is underestimated when team performance is concerend. Not just having the best players on the field, but having a consistent team on the field, so cohesion and trust is built. The latter is why it is so critical for defence.

I don't think Brisbane have ever had such a horrible run of injuries and suspensions, often at the worst times or with the worst results (release McCullough, Turpin goes down, etc). It seemed to be as close to a "cursed" year as you could possibly think of. Serious questons need to be asked of the medical team, and if we're going to look seriously at the Storm's upper management, we should bloody well look at their medical team as well.
