NRL 2022 Finals Week 3 Discussion

They did mention the Parra premiership drought being the longest. Agenda?

Great season by the Cows considering where they were last year. This team will only get stronger and they should be a force for the next few years. Guys like Cotter, Nanai, Dearden, Drinkwater, Hammer are all headed for stardom and if this group can stick together, they should give themselves plenty of opportunities to make the GF in the near future.

The Mighty Eels, of course.

For Sterlo.

I like that you've been paying attention Pete, even if it's one of my wackier theories.

I'll be honest, watching the game I thought the Cows got so much fucking leeway that even I'm confused. Parra seemed to win that one off their efforts, despite the refs giving the Cows everything they needed.

But anyway, the longer this has gone on, the sillier I feel, but since we've come this far, I'm riding this sucker to the end.

Next stop, Panthers vs Rabbitohs.

ALL ABOARD!

Moses would not have the inertia to throw the ball that far forward if he threw it backwards. I know you like to play devil's advocate but the Cowboys got screwed on that call.

The turning and the swinging of the arms while facing backwards is enough to make a ball travel forward. The ball travels less than a metre forward. When you look at it frame by frame, it looks like it leaves the hands flat.

My argument isn't whether the pass is forward or not, it's that when you slow it down and look at it, it's not as clear cut as it looks.

If anything Moses' grip and the timing of the pass makes it even more pronounced. By the time he releases the ball, the right hand has gone behind it and on release he's thrown it at an accute angle towards the opponents try line.

Horrible decision.

In the vague hope of, 'No conclusive evidence'?
The vague hope of "closest finals series ever". The NRL is a 'product'. If the Cows go in there, the Eels get a grandstand finish. Some freak result in the final 5 minutes

It was great hearing the QLD commentators go into meltdown when the Cows lost.

Cows fans going off saying they were ripped off from a cheating ref.

Me being helpful reminding them of the cheating ref in the West Tigers game where they ripped the heart out of the Tigers & gifted the Cows the win.

Thank heavens, I am separated from them by the internet. :rofl
