when players take a voluntary tackle like Walsh just did, I have no idea why the opposition always tackle them.

they should be forcing them to get to their feet. if they do, then you force them, out, back in goal etc ... if they don't they get penalised for a voluntary tackle

Because the ref calls held or tackled when there aren't any players on them lol

EDIT: and if you actually tackle them hard when they're on the ground with no one on them you cop a multi week suspension ala TPJ on Maloney

Good combination there for the Titans to send Sami over. Sexton, to Campbell to Brimson all three just put the defensive line on their toes and Brimson with a great pass to set up the try.

that one had the "plays for Broncos" penalty enhancement ... he did the same thing in the Bulldogs trial and didn't even get charged

i dont mind that not being a penalty but guarantee you the refs will not be that consistent all year and rules will be different form the big 4 teams vs everyone else which will lead to alot of frustration for us fans again

Should have sent him off for a HIA as well as deny the penalty.

Absolutely, the referee got it right here. However compare that to the Flegler on Tupouniua to decide the game last year.

They were sending them off for 10 minutes last season, now all of a sudden they're taking the hard nosed "it's just part of footy" approach, I would be filthy if I were a Warriors fan

I'm fine with that challenge being ruled inconclusive, but could easily see that being called against the Titans on a different day.

Walsh is really having an unhappy period here. Ever since the third tackle kick, he's really struggled to make his mark. The Titans with a good opportunity to wrap it up here.

so Voss says he'd rather mistakes made than the stoppages through captains challenges.
