This Coates stuff is making me so mad. I’m surprised how livid I am. I can’t take much more of this.

I am in the exact same boat mate, makes me fume.

Coates is a gun.

He's still a bit raw and his sloppy defence is covered by a great system.

Definitely the best team for him to be developing at.

I want to fold some Kents

Bulldogs slowly learning if you want a 5/8 to be a gun, you need a good halfback next to them. The Bulldogs don't have this.

They threw money at forwards and outside backs and fullbacks, but not a halfback. That's going to bite them on the ass.

If Fifita stays, and Coates stays and Walsh stays and Walker stays, etc etc etc.

Paste tense cant be used as justification for leaving because we dont perform like this if our good players dont leave in the first place.

The system is completely broken for a fair comp.
I am not saying we have not benefited from it in the past either, but there is no denying its doomed to fail if something doesn't change.

All part of the process of rebuilding the club. I can see progress but it’s another year and a few more decent signings until they are up there again.

An upgrade spine is the missing part of the jigsaw puzzle… as it is for a few teams.

Reynolds. The fact they didn't go hard after him was a surprise. It's not like they didn't have the money and it would have allowed Reynolds to stay in Sydney.

These players leave their teams because they can't show what they can do due to shit systems and bad coaching.

Who can blame them for leaving? It's up to clubs to give their players an incentive to stay. Money isn't everything, although some do chase the money and regret it.

The Storm should be renamed to the Melbourne Dream Crushers

Whatever hopes you have for your season go to die when you face them. This 44-0 drubbing will hurt the Dogs fans. They have a right to hope for their team and they would have been aiming up the ladder this season. Plenty of hopes and dreams crushed emphatically by the storm tonight.
I hope this stays at 44 and doesn't go to 50. Us Warriors have lost 50 up to the Storm plenty of times and it isn't something I would wish on the Doggies. They are a good fan base.
