Still, it was a deserved win for Manly. Too well oiled in that first half, the halves played with purpose and the Gold Coast defence was caught on their heels far too often.

Another high penalty count 12-11 Gold Coast. Like I said, it wasn't really benefitting anyone but it had a big influence on this game and ultimately for the worse.
