Why isn't Cook sinbinned for the pro foul?

 
Bullemor is going backwards at a rate of knots... form has been woeful since moving to Sydney

You dont get binned for a professional foul if the penalty try is given
 
So have the bunker forgotten that they're only meant to be looking at the decision the ref called for challenges??

If there was an obstruction further back it doesn't matter... Analsley came out and told everyone you can only challenge what the ref has called the stoppage for

thats an odd one then. if someone is going to score for sure anyway why dont you just deliberately take out the guy everytime. feels like you should also get sent 10 other wise there is no real downside in doing it. besides the conversion in front

How the **** are Manly still in this makes our performance even more embarrassing. Was DCEs 10 year contract a bargain?

The punishment is the kick being in front of the posts... so if you take a winger out on the sideline the try is still given but they have a guaranteed two points in front.

If they dont give the penalty try then you're off the field for 10mins

Walker is very versatile. Can play edge, centre and in the halves

i know that i just dont feel thats a big enough punishment for professional foul

Except you're just always giving them 6pts.

What if Cherry doesnt get interfered with by Cook and he knocks it on.

If you're always giving away penalty tries then you're just asking for trouble and not ever forcing the other team to complete the play.

If you get it wrong and it's not a prof foul then you're off for ten.

I just dont see a whole lot of benefits to giving them away on purpose

Far out, no wonder I get angry when it happens for no reason.

Manly have put in a great effort. They can take heart from this performance. That sendoff killed the game.

i get all that i personally just still feel if you deliberatlty take someone off the ball to stop them grounding then it should be 10 in bin regardless.

just a personal rule i wish they would change to make guys think twice about deliberate taking out someone in act of scoring

This effort by manly showcases the difference in warriors attitude last game and manly's.

Manly just has more people that "really" want to win and won't give up so easily.

Souths can thank their lucky stars that the refs checked the table prior to this game and sent a player off with 70 mins remaining in the match
