CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 12 Discussion

Titans lose, I got my tip so I'm happy but geez I think there's been some clangers by ref/bunker (both ways)

Wait is Holbrook trying to take Fifita off the field in the last minute when you need points.

Fucking idiot

I'll agree with the commentary this time, that was putrid.

Both those teams are at a level where they just cannot stop momentum and leak points off the back of it.

Tits dominating with a 7-1 penalty count and as soon as dogs got a few penalties and sets in a row Titans couldn't stop them.

The Titans did well just running hard through the middle but their spine sucks

cliffy looking like he could run out today start at 6

Turbo dropping a Fogarty bomb cold... ooof .. definitely not injured though

Good win to the Bulldogs, they're a really likeable team and they have some serious point-scorers in the team when they play off the back of second phase.

That second half was just so emblematic of the Gold Coast and why they've struggled to match it with the good teams. Two tries off the back of not competing hard enough for a high kick, then when they hit back they immediately lose possession through a stupid mistake from their captain. There were some really frustrating moments about this afternoon but the Gold Coast constantly put themselves in losing positions.

Independent doctor did Manly a huge favour.

What’s up with the cowboys? my experience with the floggings during the pie years was that score line only happens when you have senior players, team leaders, who are either struggling or clocking it in… I noticed Feldt had some shockers in the highlights but in the end he’s just a winger…
They didn't play with any intensity and were blown off the park. They could have grafted their way back into the game but it seemed like they wanted to take soft oppositions and paid the price. They were weak defensively all across the park, everybody failed their assignment - even players like Dearden and Val who really built their games off the back of their defence.

In general, they're low on confidence and the pack isn't as strong as last year. I think last year they built their season on that Round 3 win against the Broncos and they just haven't had that type of win. I think the wins against the Roosters and Dragons lulled them into a false sense of security.

I wouldn't write them off for a Top 8, but it would take a miracle for them to make Top 4. The regular season is all about finishing Top 4, anything less is just a fool's hope.

Good effort from Turbo to get the ball down there... his last two runs in those recent sets have looked better
