How that got all the way to the grounding is beyond me. Whitehead was clearly tackled. How the video ref misses that.

That was a strip after the tackle had been completed... Whitehead's ball carrying arm was on the ground.
Why is the bunker so terrible?

I thought initially he was looking for the flick pass to the winger. You could also say he was freeing the ball-carrying arm to reach out for the line.

He looked like he was in two minds about whether to pass or just go himself.

Just tuck the ball in and run as hard as you can, they weren't stopping him.

Got to wonder how long Tedesco will be the Rooster fullback. He main option seems to be just to go himself. The Roosters would look better with a fullback who is capable of linking with his edges.
