NRL 2023 Round 2 Discussion

Fair try. Raiders player was clearly trying to obstruct him.

The Knobs at NRL HQ - “How can we ensure the 17th team is a success?!”
The referees - “Hold my beer”

Yeah, Raiders player was fair competition with body on body. They are both competing for a loose ball. But one player was pushing with hands, the other was playing by the rules.

He wasn't using his hands, though. It's an unfair contest once one player can use hands and the other can't .
Nope. He was using his body to block the player. Wasn't going for the ball

Fogarty showing why you need a good kicking game.

5th tackle at the 30m and he bombs it to the 20m... that's deadset atrocious

This. You can stand in front of someone in that situation as a defender . But you cannot use hands at any point which Gilbert did

Yardage penalty Dolphins.... I'm absolutely shocked

If the Phins win here, Vlando gets the result he needs and Ricky will pay them a minimum 10k.

Its win/win

Also Hudson young has been such a liability

I should not be annoyed by this reffing, because I knew it would happen, but this is infuriating.
