CROSS FORUM NRL 2023 Round 25 Discussion

I get latrell has had some great moments but they happen about once a year, Max. He is surely sneaking up on braith anastas over rated GOAT status now that TPJ has "retired"...

And fuvk I laugh at souffs fans continuing to pretend the arey no re-signing was a great move. It is honestly among the worst player retention decisions I've ever seen. He obviously held their culture and structure together, way better player then latrell if you scored them on averages. Also latrell at fullback is obviously fucked, his body shape means he plays about 15 games a year and isn't at full fitness for 10 of them. Wasn't their reasoning for Reynolds bcos of his injuries? He's played 20+ games every year for the last 10+ years.
If JD isn't a cat he puts him at centre and tells him to drop 10 kilos or he starts next year in reserve grade.

Seriously, that performance was absolutely disgraceful for a marquee player.

Doesn't get much better than that for Newcastle. Perfect conditions, packed crowd and they were on top for 80 minutes.

I doubt much will come from the Latrell elbow.

It must be a marketing campaign by the NRL. There is no other explanation for it.

They play down every grubby dog act Latrell commits and praise every mediocre play he is involved in.
Bloke is overweight, mediocre and a utter grub yet can do no wrong in the eyes of the NRL/commentators.

Love seeing fatrell and Cody losing their shit , easily the worst losers in the game.
Fatrell looks like he's stacked it on since he's been back.
Every time some media type blows wind up his arse he eats a biscuit.

The Knights are certainly riding a hot streak into the finals. Good luck to them. Always quite nice to see Souths get a dent put into them.

Imagine the utter fuckwit you have to be to defend Latrell elbowing a guy in the back of the head.
/eyeroll

Ennis : "The elbow wasn't overly brutal".

A fucking elbow to the back of the head of a downed opponent and he downplays it.
Unbelievable.
I didn't see it, listening on radio. But I remember james Roberts elbowed corey oates in the back of the head when he was on the ground, obviously intentional, corey oates off for the rest of the game (even though the concussion protocols weren't even that strong back then) and he didn't get fuvking cited for it. I mean "player saftey" that is the absolute epitome of the opposite!

Oates may have come off but he returned later in the game. Remember he had an opportunity to steal the game late but Damien Cook came up with a boot lace tackle to deny him.

Roberts was charged over it and missed two weeks.

LOL surprise surprise you defending Latrell lmao.

Pathetic mate, defending a dog shot on a downed opponent, fucking slap yourself you merkin.
It was soft as ****. If he got him he would have knocked him out. Fucking precious
